Mel has played an integral role in the MR team’s creative network for over 6 years as both a designer, creative director and copywriter. This creative versatility ensures she tackles each brief with a unique respect for both the copy and design.
She believes any successful piece of visual communication is made up of two parts – great pictures and great words. An amazing brand needs the perfect strapline, a well-designed magazine is only as good as the copy on its pages, and a clever TVC idea demands a great script.
With a career grounded in retail, branding, publishing and promotional marketing environments, Mel has worked with many big brands – from corporate giants like QIC, Westpac and Sony through to FMCG powerhouses like Kellogg and Arnott’s. But she has plenty of time too for the start ups, disruptors and working on award-winning brands like Affinity Education, Beetanicals and Lancini Property Group.
