I launched Madam Republic in 2013 and from the very beginning, it was never created to fit the mould of a conventional agency. If you had asked me back then whether I envisioned it evolving from a full-service agency into a collective that blends strategy, storytelling, immersive events, and retreats through one integrated approach, I probably would have smiled and said, “Nothing is off the table.”
So many experiences have shaped the direction of this journey over the years — some beautiful, some challenging, and some undeniably life-altering. But through it all, what now sits at the centre of my work is a deeper focus on alignment: ensuring that what a brand says, what it does, and how people experience it are all connected in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, and deeply human.
Studying Human Design and soon being able to support others as a qualified practitioner is another unexpected gift that found me along the way. Much like my breast cancer diagnosis in 2019, which became a profound catalyst for deeper healing, self-inquiry, and exploring the role of plant medicine alongside conventional medicine, it shifted the way I see not only business but life itself.
Studying Human Design and being able to use this experience as a qualified practitioner in the coming months is another gift I never saw coming, just like my breast cancer diagnosis in 2019, which was a catalyst for doing the deeper work and studying plant medicine.
