MR was engaged by the Shearer-Smith family to rejuvenate the Smithfield Cattle Company logo after twenty years of visibility in the beef industry. The Madam Republic team was honoured to create a new brand identity and strategy for the business to continue Alf's legacy and further cement the Smithfield name both in both Australia and overseas.
SMITHFIELD CATTLE COMPANY TRACES ITS ROOTS BACK TO 1928 WHEN ALF SMITH (AN IRISH IMMIGRANT) OPENED HIS FIRST BUTCHER SHOP IN THE SOUTH BURNETT. TODAY THE COMPANY REMAINS 100% FAMILY OWNED AND IS OPERATED BY ALF’S GRANDCHILDREN.
MR was responsible for creating a new brand identity and brand communications across all facets of the companies business and marketing. To further elevate the new brand, the MR team captured footage and stills at the Smithfield Feedlot in Proston QLD.
A stationary suite comprising of business cards, letterhead, with comps slips and a 12 page- Coffee Table Book in both english and mandarin translation was created to support Smithfield Cattle Co business and marketing needs.
